About Stillsite

Stillsite is a managed website service from Smarter Business Tech, for small businesses whose site is a brochure. This page is about who is behind it and why it exists.

Who is behind it

Stillsite is built and run by Dan Brown of Smarter Business Tech, a software business in Hampshire that has been building business systems for close to thirty years and now builds them with Claude.

Why Stillsite exists

The idea came from watching small businesses pay a retainer and a hosting bill to keep a traditional website alive, on WordPress, Concrete5 or the like, that changes once or twice a month, and wait days for each change. Stillsite rebuilds the site so there is nothing to patch or hack, hosts it, and makes the changes you ask for. How it works says what that involves.

Built the way your site will be

This website is customer zero: it runs on Stillsite the way a customer’s site does.
