Privacy notice
This site collects very little. This page says what, where it goes and what your rights are.
Who we are
www.stillsite.ai is run by Smarter Business Tech Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 16362343, registered office Lytchett House, 13 Freeland Park, Wareham Road, Poole, Dorset BH16 6FA. Smarter Business Tech is the data controller for anything you send through this site. Questions about this notice go through the contact page.
The contact form
When you send the contact form we receive your name, your email address and your message. Our email provider delivers them to us, and they are kept in our mailbox for as long as we need them to reply to you and to keep a record of what was said, and no longer than is needed for that. We use them to reply, and for nothing else: no marketing list, no sharing with anyone.
The form is protected by a bot check, run by a security provider, that tells a person from a program. When the form page loads, the check receives your browser’s details and your IP address in order to run.
Cookies and what the site stores in your browser
This site sets one cookie of its own, and only when you choose a colour theme or a light or dark
mode in the header: stillsite-theme, which remembers your choice for a year, here and on the other
Stillsite sites (the help centre, your dashboard and the approval pages), so they all show it.
Choosing Harbour blue and Auto removes it. It goes only to our own sites, with each page you open,
and holds nothing about you. Your answer to the cookie question below is kept the same way, in a
cookie named stillsite-consent that lasts a year and is shared with the help centre, so you are
asked once. Those are preferences, not personal data.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read, so we know what to write more
of. It only runs if you press Accept on the bar at the bottom of the page; until then, and if you
press Decline, nothing from Google loads and no analytics cookie is set. If you accept, Google sets
cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by our property’s id, which last up to two years and tell
Google Analytics that a visit is the same visitor returning. Google receives your IP address, which
Google Analytics 4 does not store, the pages you view and how long you stay, and its own
privacy policy covers what it does with them. We do not use
the data for advertising and we have not turned on Google’s advertising features. You can
change your choice at any time, or delete the cookies in your browser.
Rating a change
After each change Stevie makes, and each answer it gives, you can say whether it was good or could be better, and add a comment, or leave a comment alone, from the email, the approval page or your dashboard. We keep the rating and the comment with the change, under your name, to see how well Stevie is doing and to improve it. The people who look after your website’s dashboard can see the ratings given on that website, by first name; nobody outside your business and Stillsite can. We read the comments with the help of the AI that powers Stevie, which already processes the changes you ask for. A rating is deleted with the rest of your website’s records when you leave, and you can change yours at any time by rating again.
Hosting
The site is served by our hosting provider, which also looks after its domain. Like any web host, it keeps short-lived server logs, which include the IP address of each visitor, in order to run and secure the service. We do not use those logs to identify anyone. If you would like to know which companies provide the services on this page, ask through the contact page.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to how it is used. Ask through the contact page and we will reply within a month. If you are not happy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
